Happy Mother's Day. Figured I do a quick update on SSS CDM challenge project (details here) and fish for ideas before my weekly deadline Monday afternoon. I'm down to 10 purchases left and 2 taxi squad adds later so changes need to be on point. I'm currently 6th in the division out of 25 but the top 5 is actually in a different tier. That's also of course where the real cash is including 3rd which is about the break even point. Alas there is still time as we are 1/5 of the season finished but the worry is as everyone's roster gets adjusted to optimal they become very similar. Listed below are the relevant reports.
So the most obvious buy based on stats and salary is purchasing Carlos Beltran (840K) and darn it came this close to pulling the trigger on him last week. My other strong consideration right now is with BA being so low this year Adam Dunn (820K). He's a perfect replacement for Hosmer (960K) who's been dreadful. Folks still have faith in him? Who else should I drop? Hot players to watch the next couple weeks? Players you think I need immediately? The save situation seems to be appearing again. Fire away. I'd like to keep the thread results updated and relevant for the next few weeks so I'd appreciate a few recs.
