my fellow south side soxers, i write to call you all to meth it up on saturday august 25th when the mighty white sox take on the lowly seattle submariners. you probably gathered that from the fanpost title.

so, aye. the time is nigh for another gathering wherein we eat, drink, be merry and insult uribedown's comedy facial hair.

the game on saturday is at 18:10, which gives us lots (perhaps too much) time beforehand to collate ourselves. they play on friday night too along with sunday afternoon, but many of us have work and screw the notion of recovering from a meth-up on a monday. also, as i stated in the RRRR, going on saturday helps me escape the feminist book club meeting my wife is having at mine that afternoon*.

i figure we will do the same paypal routine that hsa traditionally uses for the early season coming together. i have never purchased tickets for a large group before, so if anyone could dispense some wisdom and advice on that front i would appreciate it and we would all benefit.

if you are going to come along then let it be known in this thread and i will edit & list (in the positive, non-bm sense) those who are attending in this post.
