From Paris. moroots stopped in Paris during his vacation with his lovely girlfriend and we were able to meet up, have a few drinks, see an excellent jazz concert, and talk a little baseball. As I have noone with whom I can discuss baseball in depth, it was quite a treat for me. We finished the evening with drinks in my apartment and watching the first few innings of last night's debacle (starting at 1am here.) Alas, the Paris Metro was closing and the woman folk had to be attended to, so we couldn't stay up until the wee hours to watch the rest of the game. After seeing the results in the morning, I'm not too upset.
