Last night, the Detroit Tigers broke even in this four game series with the Whitesox with a 5-3 victory highlighted by homers by Austin Jackson and Miguel Cabrera.
Now the real challenge begins with Max Scherezer and Justin Verlander the next two nights. Gavin Floyd will make his return tonight and has the Tiger's number over the years. Whitesox should be worried about how the long layoff will affect Gavin Floyd.
The Whitesox needed to atleast split these next two games to assure themselves a lead in the division when the Tigers leave town. Scherezer and Verlander proved they can be had with losses to Kansas City and the Los Angeles Angels.
If the Tigers do take these next two games, Whitesox fans will feel very uncomfortable with a tie going into a long road trip.I am hoping Floyd pitches six strong innings and let the bullpen do the rest. oh and the whitesox score runs other than the homerun.
Walgreens should be busy these next three weeks, with Pepto Bismal sales going through the roof, we are going to need it. buckle up Whitesox fans it's going to get crazy from here on out
