Is This The Big Game?

Give the Whitesox credit for not mailing it in last night with the 8-6 lost to the Detroit Tigers, they had the tying run at the plate only to have Orlando Hudson strike out to end the game. if you beliveve in moral victories, feel good about that lose.

Now its Sale/Verlander II and this time its personal. I know that it's Bears and Packers tonight, but, this game is far more important than a week two matchup and there are fifteen more games left in the football season so the Bears can take a backseat. giving how football crazy this town is, that's not going to happen.

Even if the Whitesox lose tonight, they will be tied for the AL Central lead and all will not be lost, but, as Whitesox fans you want them to have a lead going into the long road trip going into Minnesota and Kansas City, teams who would love to ruin the Whitesox chances at postseason play, and a much tougher Los Angels Angels.

Let's hope Chris Sale is on his game tonight, and as much as attendance talk makes my brain hurt, there are more than 30,000 in the stands for this marquee matchup.

Sale/Verlander and Bears/Packers. time to give that remote a workout.
