In 2062 an old pre sim power returned to glory as New York captured only its second BMO championship. New York used a power offense(3rd in home runs) and dominate pitching to claim the title. A few key trades gave them TWTW they had been missing the 5 years. However, the talent that left the organization will be missed and may cause problems down the line. 2062 also introduced a new owner in Toronto as we all welcomed texag10 into the mix. Will he be able to return Toronto to the success they had in the 40's? Only time will tell, but little time was wasted in making moves to improve the team. Baltimore, Toronto, and Boston all look poised to give New York some competition in 2063. Tampa seems to be in a rebuild mode and could be a few years away, although they have some young talent that could help them out depending on how fast it develops.
In the Central Minnesota pulled away from the pack down the stretch in what is becoming an old story line. It looks like every team in the division is attempting to load up and compete this year. With the rest of the offseason to go it is a little hard to predict exactly which team will emerge as Minnesota's new main competitor. Kansas City, Cleveland, and Detroit look to have the pitching but may need a move or two on offense. While Chicago is solid all around but could use a player on either side of the ball.
Out West a new manager in Seattle was able to lead them to a division title, besting old guard Texas. In current form Texas looks best to compete with Seattle in 2063 but Los Angeles may be able to hang around as well. Oakland has some work to do; maybe they'll get some help from the commissioner during the offseason. They could use a new manager. Are you reading this and thinking you'd like Oakland to be good at all things fake baseball? Sign up and help them out (there are a few other teams available as well)!
