Bullet points, because Fox blacked out the game in my area. Add in details where necessary:
*Jordan Danks entered the game as a pinch runner for Dayan Viciedo in the ninth. He stole second, which was good. Then he was picked off by Houston closer Jose Veras to end the game, which is very, very bad.
*That sealed the White Sox's 11th loss in their last 12 road games.
*The White Sox gave John Danks a quick 1-0 lead on a two-out single by Paul Konerko in the first inning, then watched as the Astros picked at John Danks for four runs over six innings.
*The Astros tied it up when John Danks hit Carlos Pena with a 1-2 pitch with two outs, and Ronny Cedeno cashed him in with a double to the gap. He then gave up a pair of solo homers in the fourth, and an RBI double to Brandon Barnes in the fifth.
*Lucas Harrell shut the Sox down until seventh. Adam Dunn hit his 18th homer of the year to make it a 4-2 game. Two batters later, Conor Gillaspie singled and advanced to second on a throwing error. That was a big base, because Gordon Beckham knocked him in with a ground-rule double, narrowing the gap to one.
*Matt Lindstrom and Nate Jones each pitched a scoreless inning in relief.
