Ball AJ hit
Was that not 6 pitches in about the same location?
by southsidefan on Jul 2, 2006 1:38 PM CDT reply actions
Bunt hits in the first inning
Nice throw, Pods
We CANNOT hold 'em after we score in the 1st.
No hyperbole, but Buehrle looks like total crap.

Wow.
Thanks for ruining my Sunday Mark, you ass.
Hey, we beat the Twins
Hmm...

First pitch
Not really....
Reyes, a competent bullpen arm, and a decent prospect of some sort would about parallel the Mulder trade and would work for me.
I'm not sure now is the time to do it, since you'd hope MB would contribute more this season than Reyes would. But today doesn't help m confidence in him...

Dialogue between my friend and I
Friend: 3 run shot?
Me: I wouldn't be surprised, he's a good fastball hitter.

Buehrle is seriously a joke.
Detroit destroying Pittsburgh. Back to 2.5. Yuck.
I sure hope we get

Honestly...
Jay.....
this team is starting to look
at least the bullpen (sans cliffy) is hot right now, which begs the question, why was buerhle still pitching here? m
mark was still giving up hits and if he holds them we have a chance (not saying we still don't but our win probability has to be very very low right now)
by james@lifeinthecell on Jul 2, 2006 2:51 PM CDT reply actions
Fuck WGN
Maybe Mark was showcasing himself

by james@lifeinthecell on Jul 2, 2006 3:11 PM CDT reply actions
time to get in Ozzie's ass
oz has proved he'll stick with his pitchers if their getting the job done, but mark clearly was having a tuff time...no need to save the bullpen here
by james@lifeinthecell on Jul 2, 2006 3:19 PM CDT reply actions
a little more
by james@lifeinthecell on Jul 2, 2006 3:20 PM CDT up reply actions
Wow
Blow a golden chance to get back into it
Yeah
He's done. He shouldn't pitch in a Sox uniform again.
it will be pretty much lopsided
JIM THOME
THE PEORIA POUNDER
i didn't mean for politte
sidenote: why no tags allowed in the subject? i tried a
The countdown to Politte's DFA has begun
I've seen enough
i don't know exactly how to fill in those blanks
They want a big bat
Fields and Broadway/Lummy for Shields I'd say, but they're looking for something more established. And shields wouldn't be dealt until the 31st just to make sure they are out of it in the AL West.
That's a fair estimation
Who knows, maybe Hermy can have a medical miracle and give us a month or two of his 2005 self. :dream
I know, I'm probably dreaming
What is Ozzie saying?
Politte
Funny
With this offense and bullpen

if riske had come in right after the error
not that it won't be!

eh no sweat
by Hangwoofem on Jul 2, 2006 3:54 PM CDT reply actions
Break their hearts twice?
Strikeout, and a groundout. Ugh. Ugh. Ugh.
And we now see...
Bases juiced, 1 out, down by 1 and they lose on a strikeout and groundout to pitcher.
Sidenote, Ozzie will never learn about taking a pitcher out. He lives and dies by the sword, get used to it.
Looking at the boxscore...
Scratch, three hits for Pagan. Bye, Cliff.
And there we go
by Gangstalicious on Jul 2, 2006 4:01 PM CDT reply actions
Chuck Norris will come out
by Hangwoofem on Jul 2, 2006 4:04 PM CDT reply actions
WTF
- Why is Politte in to start the inning?
- Why is Politte still on the team?
I'm in disbelief
Sigh
