The minor-league season comes to a close for most teams on Monday, and the Charlotte Knights will be closing out a stadium. Monday will be their last game in Fort Mill, S.C., as they'll open up BB&T Ballpark in downtown Charlotte next season.

Kannapolis and Winston-Salem also wrap up on Monday, while Birmingham and Great Falls have earned playoff berths in their respective leagues.

Gwinnett 12, Charlotte 7

  • Marcus Semien went 3-for-4 with a double and a walk.
  • Brent Morel one-upped him: 4-for-4 with two doubles and a walk.
  • Carlos Sanchez, on the other hand: 0-for-5 with two strikeouts.
  • Blake Tekotte went 1-for-5 with a triple and two strikeouts.
  • Jhan Marinez, in his first Triple-A appearance since June 5: 1 IP, 1 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 1 K
  • Santos Rodriguez continues to struggle: 0.2 IP, 3 H, 4 R, 4 ER, 1 BB, 2 K

Birmingham 7, Montgomery 1

  • Micah Johnson went 1-for-5 with a strikeout and his first Double-A steal.
  • Trayce Thompson needed this: 3-for-4 with two homers and a double.
  • Brandon Jacobs went 1-for-3 with a walk, strikeout and stolen base.
  • Tyler Saladino went 0-for-3 with a walk.
  • Mike Blanke went 1-for-4 with a strikeout and a stolen base.
  • Keenyn Walker, 0-for-4 with two strikeouts.
  • Jared Mitchell went 0-for-2 with a walk, strikeout, stolen base and sac bunt.
  • Spencer Arroyo: 6 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 2 BB, 2 K
  • Nestor Molina: 2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 2 K

Wilmington 1, Winston-Salem 0

Kannapolis 5, Hagerstown 3 (6 innings)

  • Tim Anderson singled and struck out twice.
  • Jacob May singled twice, struck out once and stolen his 19th base.
  • Keon Barnum, ditto (minus the steal).
  • Jason Coats went 0-for-3 with a strikeout.
  • Nick Basto went 1-for-2 with a strikeout.
  • Cleuluis Rondon singled in both of his at-bats.
  • Jefferson Olacio: 6 IP, 4 H, 3 R, 2 ER, 1 BB, 4 K

Great Falls 6, Missoula 5

  • Danny Hayes went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts.
