New York, NY (Sports Network) - Due to the effects of Hurricane Ike, Major League Baseball has decided to move two games between the Houston Astros and Chicago Cubs to Miller Park.
The games, originally scheduled at Minute Maid Park in Houston, will be played at 8:05 p.m. (et) on Sunday and 2:05 p.m. (et) on Monday.
"Major League Baseball made the decision to move these games to Miller Park and given the lack of other viable options, we will be ready to serve as hosts," said Brewers executive vice president of business operations Rick Schlesinger.
The third game of the series, if necessary, will be played in Houston on Monday, September 29.
The Brewers also hosted a series displaced by weather last year with the Indians facing the Angels in three games from April 10-12.
