I've been having fun reading stuff over at Bleed Cubbie Blue and Lone Star Ball about a picture CJ Wilson posted on BMac's myspace page. Kinda fun watchin Cubs and Rangers fans fight. Its also cool that CJ Wilson posts comments at Lone Star Ball. maybe eventually we'll get a player to post stuff

Is it me, or...

Is David Aardsma not a good pitcher?

I have a bad feeling that we'll be cursing his name a lot this year.

From what we've seen so far

He's not gonna make the club.

If Danks is the 5th starter, Floyd will be in the pen. And if Floyd is the 5th starter there's still a good chance that Haeger will be in the pen.

Add that to the 3 locks (Jenks, Thornton, and MacDougal) and you've got only two available spots for Masset, Sisco, Logan, Aardsma, Tracey, etc. Masset seems like a lock as does Sisco.

That means Logan looks like the closer in Charlotte with Billy Koch Jr. (Aardsma) as his set up man.

have an option on Aardsma? His debut was in 2004, but he didn't play in MLB in 2005.

I'm pretty sure

everyone we got in the trades had at least one option left. (Floyd and Aardsma)

If he doesn't have an option left, then we're in trouble because you know he'll "make" the team.

they will put Floyd in the pen. Danks and Floyd will start somewhere.

One of the coaches (Ozzie/Coop)

said that if Danks won the 5th job, we'd probably see Floyd in the pen. And in the same breath mentioned that Haeger was also a strong possiblility there.
