Outfielder Josh Kroeger and pitcher Randy Williams were reassigned to minor league camp, and pitchers Lance Broadway and Jack Egbert were optioned to Charlotte. Infielder Jayson Nix was placed on the disabled list, retroactive to March 17. Mark Buehrle will not make his scheduled start in Thursday’s game against Arizona.
