My feelings tend to sway when i think about the White Sox this year. Honestly if things click, we can be a good ballclub. Though i'm more worried about our pitching, there is a chance the offense flounders from the gate. With all the heat on Walker last year i think (hope) that Greg is on a short leash. Before the season starts i think it would be funny to document everyone's projections to reference later. So please vote and then write it out in comments. I will treat the winner to a Jose Cuervo margarita from the cantina on the concourse.

How do you think Profundo deals with adversity? Having his starting ss job taken from him? Having to compete for 2nd base? Did he wallow around all winter eating? Maybe he's pissed off, motivated, and planning on coming into camp in the best shape of his life. His ESPN profile says 225lbs. His baseball reference says 173 lbs(what a joke).

So what do you think he weighs in at for spring training?

these are the trades where kenny gets the goods... he got the pirate for cotts which straight up looks pretty fair with us winning on the trade straight out because Aardsma has better stuff and is 2 yrs younger than Cotts.

Throw in a productive younger lh handed reliever and I am pretty sure we did well on this trade....

This is who we are counting on to back up erstad... wow....   freaking wow.... Doea anyone know his minor league stats to this point? Does Kenny get any say in the roster or does ozzie just own him? Can't we please pretty please get a legit outfielder? and If we aren't going to do that then just go with a youth movement.

Being a die hard White Sox fan and a big fantasy baseball fan, I can't help but wonder who it is that will replace Booby Jenks. I don't think he will go with RoboThorton, he is struggling and ozzie like to use him in a matchups too much....

I am putting my money on Mike MacD, but before i went and used a bench spot on him I was curious as to what the SSS community thought...

Who will be closing for this team in 2 weeks... when booby goes on the disabled list? (sidenote why is booby using his curve so much.... he kept throwing that thing whenever he was ahead in the count and todd walker was sitting on it both times he threw it.... todd freaking walker ladies and gentleman)

I went to the same high school as Tybor and he turned me onto this site, but this sabermetrics page of his always makes me laugh... this is why i don't get as worked up in numbers as other people... He compares Jermaine Dye to Rickie Zisk   and A.J. to one Jorge Fabregas   this is just classic stuff. I am really glad that my predictions aren't documented. I just have gambling debt to show for my intuition.
