I'll come right out and say it, I am a fan of alcoholic beverages.  I am not an alcoholic(Matt), but before, during, and after the games I like to have a few drinks and it makes Juan Uribe falling over as he swings that much funnier to me.

I live in the Northern Suburbs so getting the stadium is a hike for me, but I still make the trip because lets face it I have an obsession with the Sox, my ex even said she knew I loved the Sox more then her, I asked what was the give away.  Anyhow thats way off topic, I usually drive up the cumberland station park the car and hop on the blue line to the red line, I buy a day pass to ride the lines cuz it makes way more sense.  While on the blue line I always make sure I leave in plenty of time to stop off on Damon and go to my favorite microbrewery in the city.  If you get off at Damon walk down the stairs and walk one block there is a quite little pizza and brewery called Peace/Piece Im not really quite sure on the spelling, it has some pretty decent pizza...its no deep dish, its actually what they call New Haven style Pizza. But the main reason to go there is that they are there own microbrewery and brew some of the best beer in the city.  My favorite is the Baron von Awesome, and with a name like that how can it not be??

Anyhow, I just wanted to hear about your stories and your places to go drinking before or after the games.  Its always nice to try some new places, and if you're ever near damon make sure to stop by this place you won't be disappointed.
