How did the White Sox manage to throw 4 straight complete games in the ALCS? Why was pitching coach Don Cooper one of the top candidates to replace Mel Stottlemyer as the Yankees pitching coach?

The answer: Cooper possesses what no other pitching coach in the history of baseball has... a secret third arm. He's tried to keep it hidden for fear of the advantage being ruled illegal by congress and MLB. -- AP photographer Charles Rex Arbogast let the cat out of the bag with the photo at right.

In light of the new photo, it's unclear whether MLB will rule Cooper ineligible for the World Series. When reached for comment, Commissioner Bud Selig said, "We are looking into these allegations. I have never seen Mr. Cooper's third arm. I will make sure to have the world's leading experts take a look at the situation."
