'Tis the season

You may want to subtly email this to your aunt who always gives you that sweater with the scottish terrier on the front that she bought at the "craft show."

White Sox introduce 2006 gift cards in time for the holiday season

CHICAGO -- The World Champion Chicago White Sox introduce new White Sox gift cards in time for the holiday season. The gift cards, which are available in $50 or $100 increments, are the size of a credit card and feature a classic "S-O-X" and U.S. Cellular Field logos. The gift cards can be used to purchase White Sox regular-season home game tickets at the U.S. Cellular Field Box Office and merchandise from the Hall of Fame gift shop located on the 100-level concourse.

"This is the perfect gift for the White Sox fan on your holiday shopping list," said Brooks Boyer, White Sox vice president of marketing. "There is no better way to spread holiday cheer, show appreciation, say thank you, or congratulate your favorite Sox fan than to give them the opportunity to support their favorite team in 2006. And, gift cards allow recipients the flexibility to attend games that fit into their schedules and select the perfect merchandise."

White Sox gift cards will be available at all Dominick's stores starting Friday, December 16. See card for terms and restrictions.
