As I speculated yesterday, Jon Garland was named AL Pitcher of the Month today. He also shared Player of the Week honors with Alex (E5) Rodriguez.
In other news, Juan Rincon of the Minnesota Twins was suspended for 10 games for violating the leagues steroid policy. Rincon is the first actual good player to be caught by the testing. He's still on a small market team, and is just a reliever, so I'm still holding onto my cynicism a little while longer until a real big dog gets taken down.
