Sox vs. Dodgers -- Buehrle vs. Houlton

The last time the Sox and Dodgers faced off was 1959. It's time for revenge. Of course, I'm kidding. That was 20 years before I was born. I have pactically no connection to that team, save the picture at right.

Rule 5 draftee, D.J. Houlton, pitches for the Dodgers, who are coming to town after being swept by the lowly Royals. Mark Buehrle head to the mound for the Sox. He's due some run support. In the last 4 starts Buehrle has an ERA of 2.01, but doesn't have a decision to show for it.

The Dodgers started out as the hottest team in baseball, but they've never been able to recover from the loss of Jose Valentin. That guy just carries teams to pennants. Hee Seop Choi has been on a tear recently, but figures to sit with Buehrle (a lefty) on the mound.
