Opportunity Knocks. Will the Sox listen?
- The Twins just lost to the Padres, putting the Sox a full 7 games up in the AL Central
- They've taken the first two games against a struggling Dodgers team

The Sox counter with Jose Contreras, who is coming off of his worst start of the season. He somehow managed to grind out 6 innings though last time out. There is a substancial difference in his ERA when A.J. Pierzynski catches him compared to when Chris Widger catches him. I really hope we see AJ in the line-up again tonight.
It will be interesting to see what kind of line-up Ozzie Guillen runs out there tonight. He usually likes to throw a few bench warmers out there on Sundays, but with Frank Thomas back it pushes Timo Perez even further down the depth chart. There should be no reason for us to have a Timo sighting tonight, but I suspect we will.
Last but not least, the game is being televised nationally on ESPN. Anecdotally, the Sox are terrible in these games. It would be nice to change that trend.
