Off season redux

A little over a month ago, I took a look at the two main positions (Middle infield, and outfield) that the Sox had multiple choices on in the off-season. Just to see if the Sox had made the right decision. Lets revisit, presented with limited commentary.

AVG OBP SLG EqA WARP Polanco .335 .392 .436 .293 4.9 Vizquel .295 .356 .394 .262 4.0 Iguchi .281 .339 .421 .278 ??? Eckstein .293 .383 .375 .267 3.3 Cabrera .243 .294 .354 .229 3.6 Uribe .242 .283 .372 .217 2.5 Renteria .272 .320 .403 .248 1.7 Cora .215 .259 .289 .200 1.7 GUzman .200 .237 .286 .174 -0.7
I wanted Polanco, but I can't really complain about Iguchi.
AVG OBP SLG EqA WARP Drew .272 .398 .481 .310 5.4 Dye .266 .321 .504 .272 3.0 Beltran .262 .322 .426 .258 2.6 Hidalgo .212 .286 .423 .235 2.2 Ordonez .000 .091 .000 -.197 -0.4
Looks like the Sox made the right choice. Drew wasn't an option.

WARP stands for Wins Above Replacement Player, and is an all-encompassing stat that includes defense. Iguchi's data was not available.
