Sox/Cubs World Series?

The Daily Herald speculates on a potential Sox vs. Cubs World Series.

Imagine, if you can, what it would be like around here if the White Sox and Cubs were the last two teams standing. The Sox haven't won a World Series since 1917. The Cubs' run of futility dates back to 1908.

The two rivals have been going at each other in interleague play since 1997, but the cross-town showdown seems to lose a little steam with each passing year.

[editor's note, by The Cheat] I was just teaching Keith how to make a main page post. This scenario isn't likely to occur at all. But it sells newpapers, so we get this story all the time.

In the couple of minutes that it was on the mainpage, our Minnesota fan friend left a comment. I didn't want to make him feel unwelcome, so here's an article I'm not particularly interested in.
