Guess which hand he uses to pitch?
Rusty Tucker isn't a great prospect, but he is left-handed, and can reportedly throw in the mid-90's, so he's coming to White Sox camp. The Padres had to place him on waivers to fit Mike Piazza onto their 40-man roster. The Sox were the only one of the 29 remaining teams who thought Tucker was worth a spot on their 40-man. A full 10% of the White Sox 40-man roster is now occupied by left-handed relievers with control issues.
I was beginning to wonder who would take Timo's place as South Side Sox' whipping boy. It's becoming clear that it's going to take more than one body to fill that spot. Timo, you left a big hole.
