There is no person in baseball who seems less real than this guy. He wants everyone to like him, and as such, he runs everything he says or does through focus groups. The end result is anyone with a bullshit detector hates him.
Ozzie didn't stop there though. He took time to throw Nomar Garciaparra under the bus too.
"I hate hypocrites: He's full of ---," Guillen said. "The Dominican team doesn't need his (butt). It's the same with (Nomar) Garciaparra playing for Mexico. Garciaparra only knows Cancun because he went to visit."
I guess these are all quotes from this week's edition of Sports Illustrated. I don't subsribe anymore, but I'm going to make it a point to go out and buy one this week.
