When I started writing a White Sox blog, I was doing it mainly for myself. I wanted to have a record of my own thoughts about the on and off the field moves of the team. Somewhere along the line the site gained a bit of an audience, and I moved it here to the South Side Sox.
After the move, the site sort of took on a life of it's own, showing steady growth every month of the season. I think the strength of the site was in the small observations, and the interaction with you, that you don't find in the newspapers and other sites.
I'm so tired. Tired of waiting...
With the Sox roster practically set in January, and the first spring training game still a few weeks away, I haven't had much to comment on. I've tried to find some more light-hearted topics to occupy myself and keep the site going, but that's not really holding true to why I started the blog in the first place.
I'm far from burnt out on blogging. I sit down at the computer everyday hoping to find something interesting to write about. I'm just wondering, Where did you guys go? The comments and general chatter has fallen off drastically in the last few weeks. I look at the traffic stats for this place everyday; I know you're still reading.
Nothing to say? I know what it's like when you have nothing to say. I had a grand total of two posts last February. Sometimes the season can't get here soon enough. I know I'm counting down the days until the first real pitch of spring training is thrown.
So until that day comes... Any suggestions for the site?
