Televised Baseball

The Sox play their first of 18 games televised by Comcast Sports Net today. Dustin Hermanson, who has struggled adjusting to his new slimmer body, gets the start because the Sox only have 4 major league starters thanks to the WBC. Also scheduled to pitch is Boone Logan, who has thrown his name in the LOOGY ring.

That LOOGY race appears to be all but over. Javier Lopez is the leader by a mile in the clubhouse, while others are being told not to bother finishing their round. In a separate move, Arnie Munoz was outrighted to Charlotte after just 1IP during spring training. I can only imagine that he did something to anger management besides his terrible outing in Montreal in '04.

Also, Freddy Garcia takes on Italy in the WBC at 6PM. Use this thread to discuss any televised, or non-televised, baseball action today.
