Some of us were hoping BMac would be inserted in the starting rotation. Seems ozzie doesn't think so.
Guillen said there are no plans to insert Brandon McCarthy in the rotation in an effort to give the five starters an added break. "We aren't going to skip anyone," he said. "Five [starters], with a couple of days off, they know how to do it. We try to stay the same way and not move anyone up and down. "If something happens, we have McCarthy back there. But right now, we'll stay with the same guys." Guillen said pitching coach Don Cooper would talk to his starters about their health but said the state of the rotation has been magnified by Sunday's 14-3 loss in which Buehrle was tagged for eight runs in three-plus innings.
