White Sox Quote of the Day: Ozzie Guillen

[Daily Herald]

"Everybody is concerned," manager Ozzie Guillen said. "We expect a lot from him, or better things for him. It's up to him. I think he's healthy, so everything can be mental. If you are not prepared mentally, and you are not tough enough mentally to perform, you will run into some trouble."
The article also goes on to say that Kenny Williams has been actively looking for more bullpen help, but has yet to make a move because the 'cost was too high.'

I seriously doubt Ozzie's assertion that Politte is healthy. He's the only player in major league history to have allowed a HR to Angel Pagan, and he's done it twice. In the span of two innnigs. And if that's what Politte does when he's healthy, but suffering some kind of mental block, there's no room for him on my team.

Thanks for donating your arm for the magical 2005 season, Cliff. I appreciate it more than you'll ever know. Now it's time to walk the plank.
