How Ozzie sees things:
"I will tell [general manager] Kenny [Williams] and [chairman] Jerry [Reinsdorf] that our pitching has to be the strongest it can next season. I don't know how we're going to do it; I don't know what Kenny has planned. We haven't sat down to talk about it. But if we're going to win, we have to have the best pitching we can. Because next year, Cleveland will be better, Kansas City will be better, Detroit will be better. All those guys will be better because they have one year under the belt. And we want to compete."
Lessons learned?
"When you fail, you learn more. You learn it's not the way you think it is."
You learn not to play Rob Mackowiak instead of Brian Anderson in CF...
Biggest lesson learned?
"That I'm not that good. You learn every day about the game."
