Freddy Garcia (13-9, 5.10) vs. Paul Byrd (9-7, 4.78)
Paul Byrd's last three starts would have him fitting right in with our pitching staff. The one time he allowed fewer than 10 hits, he was pulled before recording three outs. Oh and Cleveland won that game, with Byrd surrendering 9 in the first inning.
Byrd and Garcia are a lot alike. Both have long deliveries. Both top out around 90MPH. Both pretty much suck.
Garcia has particularly sucked against the Indians this season. One would surmise, with the Indians shellacking of Buehrle last night, and their dominance over Garcia so far this season, that they like high-80's fastballs.
