Ozzie says he will probably flip-flop Erstad and Iguchi in the lineup:
While he's confident the White Sox' lethargic offense is going to perk up as early as tonight's game against the Texas Rangers at U.S. Cellular Field, manager Ozzie Guillen said he probably will try to force the action with some lineup changes.
Change of scenery? Try the bench.
"Sometimes you look for something different. I hope it works,'' Guillen said.
Guillen said he probably will flip-flop No. 2 hitter Darin Erstad (.189) and Tadahito Iguchi (.214), who has been batting sixth or seventh.
The Sox like the way Erstad handles the bat in the second spot, but the veteran center fielder probably can use a change of scenery after getting just 2 hits in his last 24 at-bats.
BTW, Freddy Garcia makes his season debut tonight for the Phillies when they host the Mets.
