Coop on facing the Big Hurt:
"Frank certainly is a concern. We have to take care of their lineup. Pitching inside is something he doesn't like. We know that, and that's something we have to do."
Buehrle, who held him hitless last year:
"I talk [trash] to everyone in here about if I ever face you, what I'm going to do to you--I'm going to get you out. I did the same with Magglio [Ordonez]. Anytime he gets a hit, I yell at him at first base. It's a little different. You want to get him out, he's trying to get a hit off of you. Everybody kind of talks back and forth."
Who'll be representing the Sox on June's Baseball Draft? Roland Hemond and South Side Hitman Chet Lemon.
In other news, the Sox signed three players from the 2006 draft: OF Sergio Morales (12th round), LHP Hector Santiago (30th round), and 3B Jedon Matthews (28th round).
Also, "the Sox had hoped to sign OF Chris Ulrey, a 33rd-round pick who played last spring at New Palestine (Ind.) High School, before Wednesday night's deadline for teams to sign players from the 2006 draft who didn't play at four-year colleges" says Mark Gonzales.
