In other news, according to ESPN, the Sox claimed Baltimore's Miguel Tejada, but couldn't work a trade with the Orioles after the waiver claim. Joe Cowley says the Sox will attempt to sign a CF this winter, one among Andruw Jones, Torii Hunter, Mike Cameron or Aaron Rowand. And the Diamondbacks signed OF Eric Byrnes to a 3 year, $30 million extension, meaning Carlos Quentin's Arizona days are probably over.
