I'm asking because I honestly don't know. My interest in the White Sox is at an all time low. Some would say that's because I "don't have a brain." But I'd argue it's because I can see where the Sox are headed. Their lack of direction this season when massive changes needed to be made in May (or before), and their continued support of obviously broken and ineffective players, coaches, and development staff doesn't bode well for the future.
As a result, I've generally been watching only the offensive half of innings during Sox games, missing all but a couple of balls hit to LF since Fields has made the move there.
I know Fields really only saw two balls hit his way during his first week in LF, and misplayed them both badly. But I haven't seen or heard of any badly botched plays since then. Has he quickly made the transition? Is he already an average LFer (which mind you isn't a very good defensive player)? Where will his future be?
