This is the most boring part of the year. We're a couple weeks away from pitchers and catchers reporting. We're not desperate enough to celebrate Truck Day. And, I don't know about you, but College basketball just doesn't hold my attention anymore until I get to fill out some brackets.
To keep us busy in this terribly boring period of the off-season, I thought we would try our hand (again) at some community projections.
First up a couple of 2B candidates, Danny Richar and Alexei Ramirez. We haven't seen much of these guys, but that's where the wisdom of crowds can really shine through. Links are in the right sidebar under recent diaries. Reply to each thread with your own projection, and I'll tabulate the results in about a week.
- Jim previews Javy.
- The Sox purchased the contract of 29-year old 2B Javier Colina. Colina hit .309/.375/.560 with 42 BB and 62 K playing with the Newark Bears of the the independent Atlantic League. However, his Minor-League stats aren't as good.
- Easy there Big Fella. Speaking of the Big Fella, Shaq may end up in Phoenix.
- THT: Tuck says Kostas For Commish.
- THT: Anatomy of a player: Bartolo Colon.
