The rest of the draft starts up at 11 A.M. CT. An easy place to follow it is right here. Expect this part of the story to be updated with White Sox draft choices when they occur. Let's see if they can keep making good choices like Chris Sale.
Pick #63: Jacob Petricka-RHP, Indiana State University
Hmm. Plus fastball, sits 92-94, can hit 97. Durable despite having Tommy John in 2007. Potential plus curve, fringe-at-best-change. Should sign for slot. (the Big Hurt nailed this one in the minorleagueball mock draft)
Pick #95: Addison Reed-RHP, San Diego State University
6'3". 215 lbs. Was a closer until Stephen Strasburg was drafted, then become a starter. Went 8-2 last season in 79.1 innings. Struck out 90 while walking 16. 90-92 mph fastball with plus command. Potentially plus slider with a decent changeup. Supposed to sign quick for slot.
Pick #114: Thomas Royse-RHP, Louisville
6'5", 215 lbs. Durable, fourth-starter type. High-80s to low-90s fastball, with sporadic velocity. Inconsistent above-average slider, solid-average change. Very signable.
Pick #128: Matthew Grimes-RHP, Georgia HS
6'5", 185 lbs. Tall and projectable. Has a commitment to Georgia Tech, so may not sign. Throws both a 4 and 2 seam fastball. Low-90s with room for improvement. Potential above-average curve, with an average change. Decent mechanics.
Pick #158: Andy Wilkins-1b/3b, Arkansas
