White Sox Minor League Update: July 14-20

Charlotte and Birmingham have their All-Star breaks as well this week, so the early part of this week will be a little quieter than usual.

• Andre Rienzo pitched a 1-2-3 inning, striking out one.

• Carlos Sanchez went 2-for-5 with a double and a strikeout.
• Jordan Danks, 1-for-4 with a walk.
• Big day for Andy Wilkins: 3-for-5 with two homers. He struck out once.
• Charles Leesman: 6 IP, 5 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 0 BB, 4 K 2 HR, 56 of 88 pitches for strikes.
• Jake Petricka: 2 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 4 K
• Daniel Webb had it working: 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 2 K, 12 pitches, 11 strikes.

• Marcus Semien went 1-for-4 with a walk.
• Keenyn Walker, 0-for-4 with a walk and two strikeouts.
• Trayce Thompson's back to hitless: 0-for-5 with a strikeout.
• Jared Mitchell went 1-for-4 with a homer and two strikeouts.
• Jake Peavy: 5 IP, 5 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 2 BB, 4 K, 57 of 90 pitches for strikes.

Myrtle Beach 9, Winston-Salem 7

• Courtney Hawkins went 1-for-5 with two strikeouts and an outfield assist.
  
• Micah Johnson went 3-for-4 with a walk, which gave him the opportunity to steal two bases.
• Joey DeMichele went 1-for-4 with a walk and a strikeout, and stole a base as well.
• Kevan Smith, 1-for-4 with his eighth homer. He also walked once and struck out twice.
• Rangel Ravelo went 2-for-4 with a homer (No. 4), a walk and a strikeout.
• Myles Jaye ran into trouble early: 5 IP, 8 H, 6 R, 6 ER, 2 BB, 3 K, 3 HBP

• Tim Anderson went 2-for-4, and committed his 13th error.
• Jacob May went 0-for-4 with a strikeout.
• Jason Coats did the same, but with two strikeouts.
• Keon Barnum went 2-for-4 with a double and his fourth homer. He also committed his sixth error.

• Trey Michalczewski went 0-for-3 with a walk.
