The Star-Ledger-USA TODAY Sports

The All-Star Game is tonight, and if you're tuning in to only see the South Side contingent, you can turn it off early.

MLB.com's Jason Beck says that Jim Leyland is going to use Chris Sale in the second and third innings. Detroit's Max Scherzer will start the game for the American League, facing the Mets' Matt Harvey.

The American League lineup on paper is ... incredible:

  1. Mike Trout, LF
  2. Robinson Cano, 2B
  3. Miguel Cabrera, 3B
  4. Chris Davis, 1B
  5. Jose Bautista, RF
  6. David Ortiz, DH
  7. Adam Jones, CF
  8. Joe Mauer, C
  9. J.J. Hardy, SS

Fun fact:
