With a six-man Hall of Fame class confirmed for the summer, the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum released the schedule for induction weekend, set to take place July 25-28.

For those of you (considering) heading to Cooperstown for Frank Thomas purposes, here's the schedule for events open to the public.

July 26: At 4:30 p.m. EDT on Saturday, the Hall of Fame Awards Presentation at Doubleday Field will honor Frick Award winner Eric Nadel, Buck O'Neil Award winner Joe Garagiola, and Spink Award winner Roger Angell.

That's followed by the Parade of Legends up Main Street at 6 p.m. The Hall of Famers in attendance ride up the street from Doubleday Field for a red-carpet entrance to the museum. The red carpet area gets especially crowded in advance, so if this interests you, you'll probably want to scout out a space earlier than you think.

July 27: The main event takes place on Sunday, as Thomas, Greg Maddux, Tom Glavine, Tony La Russa, Joe Torre and Bobby Cox will be enshrined in the induction ceremony, which begins at 1:30 p.m. EDT at the Clark Sports Center.

If you hang around through Monday, there's a roundtable discussion involving the newest Hall of Famers on July 28 at 10:30 a.m. However, the reasonably priced tickets are only available for Hall members. If you are a member, tickets are $10 ($5 for children), and they're well worth it.

This doesn't include the other appearances by Hall of Famers around town. There are usually several formal autograph signing spots with set schedules up and down Main Street, although usually for a cost, and often substantial (at least to somebody who isn't an autograph guy). Session information usually isn't available until much closer to induction weekend.

Here's a map of the three points of interest:
