Alexei Ramirez, Adam Eaton not golden enough

Both the Kansas City Royals and the Baltimore Orioles earn three Gold Gloves

Ed Zurga

Despite the acrobatic catches in Center Field, and the slick scoops in the hole, both Adam Eaton and Alexei Ramirez fell short in receiving a Gold Glove.

The Kansas City Royals had three Gold Glovers this year: Eric Hosmer at first base, Salvador Perez at catcher, and Alex Gordon in left field. The Baltimore Orioles got the best of the White Sox as J.J. Hardy got the nod over Ramirez at shortstop, and Adam Jones won his fourth Gold Glove over Eaton. The last White Sox to win a Gold Glove is Mark Buehrle in 2011 and the last position player to win it was Robin Ventura in 1998.
