Matt Lindstrom goes on the 15-day DL; Javy Guerra recalled from Charlotte

And you thought the funbad from last night's game was done already.

The White Sox placed Matt Lindstrom on the 15-day DL today with a "sublexing peroneal tendon" in his ankle.  He injured his ankle while fielding a sacrifice bunt in the ninth inning last night.

To take his spot on the roster, the Sox recalled Javy Guerra from AAA Charlotte.  Guerra was cut during spring training by the Dodgers and picked up by the Sox in the closing days of the spring.  He's spent the whole season at Charlotte.  He has an ERA of 2.33 while giving up one home run and eight walks and striking out eleven over 19⅓ innings with three saves.  That means he's got a FIP of 4.43 with some small sample size warnings required.

Guerra has spent most of the three previous seasons on the Dodgers with some time as there closer.  He had 21 saves in 2011 and eight in 2012.  In 2013, he bounced between AAA, the Dodgers, and the DL and put up a 6.75 ERA in nine games with the Dodgers last season.

Adding Guerra takes the 40-man roster back to 40.
