After four days of voting, the fans adjudicated the final spot on the AL All-Star team by select the White Sox' Chris Sale in the AL Final Vote. In previous days, Sale was in fourth place in Twitter votes, but Sox fans did not capitulate or acquiesce. Sale ended up receiving with more than 6.7 million votes.
Voting was certainly fast and furious at the end.
