Thankfully, you don't have to be in the Chicagoland area to watch Minnie Minoso's memorial service.
CSN Chicago is broadcasting the proceedings, and it's live-streaming them as well. The stream starts at 11:30 a.m. Central, a half-hour before the memorial services are set to begin at Holy Family Church in Chicago.
The White Sox released the slate of speakers:
- City of Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel
- Cook County Commissioner John Daley (on behalf of the Daley family)
- Dr. Adrian Burgos, Historian and Author
- Zach Strauss (friend of the family)
- Howard Pizer (White Sox senior executive vice president)
- Bill Pierce (White Sox left-handed legend; former teammate of Minoso)
- Charlie Minoso (on behalf of the family)
