If you were around last week, you might remember Chet Lemonhead sending us Chris Sale's 2015 Bowman card that features this little nugget on the back:

Condor Zoom

Seeing "The Condor" on one baseball card was a pleasant surprise to me, even if it's merely a cursory reference. However, if you think Sale's nickname is owed more ink and this was merely one small step in the right direction, then you'll like where this goes.

This morning, I received an email from Adrian with images of Sale's 2015 Topps Series 2 card, and it's even better.

If you can't read the back, take a closer look:

Look at Topps, explaining the moniker! Look at Topps, getting all literary with it! Granted, since Topps owns Bowman, it's possible the same person wrote the blurbs for both cards, but that's a feature, not a bug, as far as I'm concerned.

Again, you can perpetuate it yourself.
