Podcast: Gearing up for the offseason

New, 29 comments

Whenever this World Series ends we'll start seeing moves being made with teams making qualifying offers and players declaring free agency. We invited some fans to share their thoughts on how the Sox should approach this offseason.

Episode 117 is available for your listening pleasure. Here is this week's rundown:

  • We share our feelings about the national media forgetting (or ignoring) the 2005 World Series and Chance the Rapper wearing Cubs gear. Also, try to figure out how the White Sox can be relevant in a city they call home.
  • With the incredible response to the Offseason Plan Project, we invited some of you to share your ideas on how the White Sox should attack this offseason. Unfortunately due to technical difficulties, we couldn't include everyone on the podcast.
  • Jim shares his favorite plans so far and why the White Sox shouldn't be afraid to go the international route in searching for impact players.
  • Finally, we answer your questions in P.O. Sox.
