Finally got around to dust off the podcast equipment after our three-week break. Episode 118 is available for your listening pleasure. Here is the rundown:
- This show is mostly about Chris Sale, just like the MLB offseason. It seems that trading Chris Sale is inevitable at this moment just because of the amount of rumors being reported of a White Sox rebuild. Either way, there are plenty of questions to be answered to gauge what the franchise is planning to do and Jim does his best addressing the many scenarios on how this can be played out.
- [23:00] A friend of the podcast, Jim Callis from MLBpipeline.com joins the show to discuss how the White Sox prospects fared in the Arizona Fall League. He also gives his two cents if Chris Sale will be traded (teaser: no), and which team actually has the prospects that could make a deal happen. No matter who wins the Sale Sweepstakes, Callis explains why the return won't be good enough.
- Finally, we get to your questions in P.O. Sox. Here are the one's that made the show:
@SouthSideSox Do you think teams are more likely to make trades before the Rule 5 Draft to get a better picture of their 25 man roster?— Ricky Burke (@RickyB_708) November 20, 2016
@SouthSideSox Does Jose Abreu opting out of his contract and into arbitration change his odds of being traded?— House (@House_423) November 20, 2016
