The White Sox made some expected moves today. Jimmy Rollins had his minor league contract purchased by the White Sox and was added to the 40-man roster. Scott Carroll, who had a nice relief appearance the other day, was optioned to Charlotte. Jacob Turner is heading to Charlotte as well, however, he was outrighted instead.
Also, the remaining questions about who would be starting on Opening Day were answered.

The only thing left is what happens to Jerry Sands and Travis Ishikawa. They both have their own set of advantages and disadvantages. Ishikawa likely has an opt-out available within the next few days so the White Sox have to make a decision soon.
By outrighting Turner, the 40-man roster stays unchanged at 37. There are still 28 players in camp, but that includes Hector Sanchez at least.
