Episode 97 is in the books and with the Chicago White Sox continue to struggle, we are blessed to also talk about the recent MLB Draft that will hopefully provide some much needed hope in the years to come.
Here is this week's rundown:
- Prior to the weekend, Rick Hahn made plenty of moves with the roster including the call up of Tim Anderson. Was the timing ideal for Anderson to join the team, or will this be determental? Also, how the starting rotation shakes out without Mat Latos in it and the $1 million dollar investment in Justin Morneau.
- Completing his first draft as the Director of Amateur Scouting, Nick Hostetler joins the show again to share his thoughts about the new players he selected. How Zack Collins changed his mind about sticking as a catcher, odds we will see Zack Burdi in Chicago this season, the mechanical flows Alec Hansen needs to work on, and his favorite selections in the draft.
- Preview the Detroit Tigers series which very well could be the last series of Robin Ventura's tenure as manager if the White Sox continue to struggle and fall further behind.
- Finally, your questions in P.O. Sox.
@SouthSideSox Do you think a guy like Lucroy is realistic for the Sox, or will we be getting cozy with the Billy Butlers of the world?— Tim Maher (@hathead82) June 12, 2016
@SouthSideSox Hahn is a smart GM. Like the trades he's made and what he's done with the minors. Yet the Sox suck how should I feel about him— Kevin Shannon (@LucianCharms) June 13, 2016
