Chicago White Sox prospect Lucas Giolito has thrown a seven-inning no-hitter against the Syracuse Chiefs in the first game of a doubleheader. Giolito did walk three while also striking out three and accomplished the feat only throwing 87 pitches. The Charlotte Knights offense backed Giolito with three home runs from Nicky Delmonico, Danny Hayes, and Adam Engel for the 4-0 victory.
Giolito is now 2-5 on the season and dropped his ERA to 5.44.
