Salt River Rafters 14, Glendale Desert Dogs 3
Luis Robert (RF): 2-for-3, 2 R, 1 RBI, 1 BB, 0 K, 2 SB
There is Robert again, being productive from jump street. He drove in the first run for Glendale in the first inning with an RBI single. After that, he immediately stole second base, his first steal in Arizona. Thanks to his speed, he put himself in scoring position and eventually came around to score.

Robert had a case of deja vu in the third inning, after the Rafters tied the game 2-2. He singled again, and immediately stole second base, again. He seems pretty healthy now. Robert would again come around to score, thanks to his stolen base. However, the Rafters tied the game, and took a 5-3 lead in the very next inning. But at least Robert was involved in all three early runs for Glendale.
As the game went on, it got ugly for the Desert Dogs, as their pitching was just dreadful. Robert was able to reach base one more time on a walk, but all of his work on offense was for naught.
Meanwhile, Zack Burdi has some bad news. His fastball has been down about 5 mph since his return compared to his pre-Tommy John velocity. Now, he is taking time off due to fatigue. Hopefully all he needs is a real offseason routine to get his fastball back to normal.
White Sox have removed Zack Burdi from AFL action for “general fatigue.” He is expected to be fully ready to go for spring training in February
