Chris Volstad, he of the perfect spring ticket-punch to Charlotte, starts for the Chicago White Sox in their Cactus finale against the Milwaukee Brewers. Pitching today vaguely syncs Volstad on a No. 5b starter track, in case Carson Fulmer and Hector Santiago flail early with the big club.
Of course, there is probably no such thing as syncing your No. 7 starter while he’s embedded in an AAA ball rotation, and I’m just looking for things to type by way of introducing the final Camelback Ranch game of 2018.
